KALORIZIKI, TOMB 38
NB III, pp. 45 ff
November 20, 1935 Find the dromos of Tombs 37 and 38, the former (apparently) crossed by the latter.
November 22 Begin clearing dromos.
November 23 Draw section of dromos. No variations were noticeable in the fill. Photo E 10 of armaraki over chamber.
November 25 Photo F 4 of dromos. Block 1.40 x 0.60 x 0.10 at door of another tomb, with the dromos nearly at right angles to that of Tomb 38, lies directly over it. The armaraki noted above belongs to it and was close to the door. This tomb has been plundered, but several pots remain.
November 26 Finish clearing Tomb 38. The only finds remaining are a few objects from the second tomb. It is on the same floor as the first, of whose contents absolutely nothing remains. It must have been cleared out in laying the second tomb. Photo F 5 of chamber.
