KALORIZIKI, TOMB 31

November 25Photos F, 2 and 3 of chamber.

There were at least two burial periods in this tomb. The skeletons in the middle of the room represent the latest stage. To the south skeleton belong pots nos. 1-5. To the north skeleton, pots nos. 6-12 and the lamp, no. 22. The great mass of pottery at the northwest corner of the chamber was pushed back when the latest burials were made, and lies ca. 20 cm. below the pots of the latter.

Pot no. 20, broken, but together, contains the bones of an adult. Pot no. 20 seems to belong in the first layer.
