[margin top: The distribution of finds Geom. III-IV)/ into strata appears possible for the "3rd" and "2nd" burials. The finds assigned to the "1^st" burial and the "pit" supposed to be under the "1^st" burial make up an arbitrary and, seemingly, quite chaotic mixture of Geometric I and Geometric III-IV pots. The notebook sketches of the strata, none identified, show, in one drawing, a series of objects marked 1-10, in another, objects marked 1-15; the latter must belong to another tomb. In the drawing pertaining to the second stratum no skeletal remains are indicated. There is no drawing for the third stratum with its "pit". In the circumstances the only possible conclusion is that the tomb was excavated with insufficient care. In the absence of a description of the excavation which might explain discrepancies, or allow them to be controlled, publication of the tomb cannot be undertaken.]
