BAMBOULA, TOMB 24

NB VII, p.89

13 April 1939Tomb 24 lies just east of Tomb 25 and ....east of Tomb 16, the second tomb east in the same series. A voupha is sunk into its north side and an Archaic I tomb lies over it. The archaic burial was made while the tomb was still intact. Chavara blocks from the roof of the tomb lie over it.

A L.C. II layer 50 cm. deep lies under the archaic level and voupha. Though completely undisturbed, several objects are found in this level. We tunnelled under the archaic level to get at the L.C.II.
