AREA E (Revised Stratification) HOUSE I
The stratification of House I is quite fragmentary. It appears to have been in more or less continuous use throughout the LC II period; and, with a few modifications-as House VII, in the LC III period. Together with House II (later House VI) it has the longest continuous history among Area E dwellings. There is no evidence of its having suffered any major catastrophes until the final one (see House VII).
