B(2) Material in part contemporary to B(1), in part later, though prior to C, belongs to three categories: a) Accumulation over the early floor and levelling material below the later L.C.II floor in 2:28, together with the wall trenches for walls 5,6,7 in 2:27 and 2:28, which were covered over prior to period C. The sherds are: 65% plain 1 sherds painted L.H.III (Sh462) 1 L.H.III coarse 69 White Slip II 19 Base Ring (2 white paint) .9 Wash Ware 1 Burnished Slip 1 Monochrome 2 Black Slip 13 Red Polished 2 Neolithic 119 decorated sherds b) The material in the wall trenches and on the remains of the walls of the early building below 2:21. 80% plain 1 sherd L.H.III 10 White Slip II 7 Base Ring 7 Wash Ware 1 Red Polished 25 decorated sherds c) The material built into walls 3 and 3a in 2:27 immediately antedates period C. 80% plain 2 sherds L.H.III (P759,Sh471) 1 White Slip II 5 Base Ring 1 Wash ware 7 decorated sherds C. (1) consists of the accumulation below "10.98" over the 10.89/11.50 floor of 2:28, which contained the following sherds: 85% plain, with L.C.III types 2 sherds L.C.III painted 1 Buccheró 4 Foreign dark on light (Sh287,290) 1 Foreign Bichrome (Sh288) 64 White Slip II (Sh291) 17 Base Ring II (one white paint) 1 Burnished Slip 11 Wash Ware 1 Monochrome 1 Black Slip 3 Red Polished, etc. 106 decorated sherds (2) is a deep fill of L.C.II building debris, levelling out the dip in bed-rock in the lowerpart of trench 2, and doubtless related to the circuit wall. 2:27 and 2:28 are not covered by this deposit, and were doubtless still in use at the time it was made.
