328. Room(52) would be the [handwritten: Θάλαμος] because the 'rising xxx sun', xxx i.e. Christ, would be thought to have there spiritually and symbolically married the Church. This xx location of the [handwritten: Θάλαμος] I consider xxx unlikely because of the proximity of this room(52) to room (49), because the meaning of the word [handwritten: Θάλαμος] would be somewhat strained, because of the more specifically baptismal connection of the word [handwritten: Θωάνδα] ,see pp. 51-53, and because it is hard to see why [handwritten: Θάλαμος Θωίσης] would apply more to room(52) than to room (49). Incense was used probably throughout the ceremony of the

Epiphany,

and both rooms would xxx al most simultaneously have been filled with xx its fragrance. Room (74) might be considered the [handwritten: Θάλαμος Θωίσης] only because of the location of the inscription before this room (74). [handwritten: Θάλαμος Θωίσης] would then have no specific, xxx definite meaning but would xx rather a well-aired room.
