November 30, 1983Dear Bob:
Cyprus Excavations. Report on 1983 research and publications activity Request for renewal of remaining 1983 allocations
----------
Only one project was funded by the University Museum in 1983: David Rupp, Mosaics on the Acropolis of Kourion. Activity has been confined to supplying Dr. Rupp with additional material required for his study.
460404 Kourion Publications (Harrison Fund) 350.00 Discretionary Fund, Aug. 1, 1983 500.00 850.00
Expenditures: May 19 Xeroxes 148.72 May 23 Reproductions of drawings 172.25 320.97
Remaining Balance 530.03
The additional 500.00 was requested for payment for:
145 xeroxes of notebook pages to be done by Xerocenter, 399 Chestnut St. (could not be done by our machines)
119 5 x 7" enlargements of 35 mm. field negatives @ 3.00 357.00 (bill to be rendered in December)
(bill probably to be rendered in Feb. or March, 1984)
The xeroxes have been ordered and should be delivered in the first week of December. The enlargements will be ordered before Dec. 31, 1983, but probably cannot be ready until February or March, 1984, because of a large CVA order now in the works in the Studio.
I therefore request that the remaining of the 1983 allocation, 530.03, be renewed for use in 1984.
