TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Episkopi Limassol, Cyprus

3 November 1953It is my belief, based on records available to me, that the late George H. McFadden:

1.undertook to raise by 10% the wages of the servants mentioned below, [handwritten: effective March 15, 1952]:

2.arranged to retain the money represented by this 10% raise to save or invest for these servants until such time as they left his service;

3.had actually paid the accumulation of this raise to two servants (Andreas Alexandrou and Mustapha Hassan) who left his service in November, 1952; and that:

4.the accumulations due in the case of the following servants still in his employ at the time of his death on April 19, 1953, were still retained by Mr. McFadden and had not been paid to them:

Amount due, Mar. 15, 1952 to

Apr. 19, 1953Christos Gregoriou 21-0-0 Cypriote pounds Christophis Polycarpou 20-5-5 [handwritten: "] Savas Socrati 14-10-6 [handwritten: "] Neophytos Alexandrou 5-11-2 [handwritten: "] Michalis Chrysostomou 11-3-2 [handwritten: "]

It is my opinion that the amounts due represent an obligation undertaken by Mr. McFadden and that they should be considered a just claim against his estate in Cyprus.
