March 9, 1978Dear Saul:

I am rather puzzled that I have not heard from you in answer to my letter of Jan. 26. I suppose it is possible that the letter went astray. Yours provided two addresses and perhaps I elected the wrong one.

At any rate, I send you herewith a Xerox of my letter. You will see that I need to hear from you before going ahead with any photography or whatever. I would like to take care of this during what remains of the second semester since this summer I have promised to give full attention to Gordion publication work.

Yours,

Handwritten: Roger
