Dear Peter:
Thank you for yours of December 15.
I have asked Mrs. Albany to arrange to send Christophis direct the £5-0-0 for packing the Ayios Ermoyenis finds.
With regard to proofs for Sotira the latest estimate is that we may be able to send them to Porphyrios sometime in May. I have written him to this effect. I assume you do not anticipate any difficulty about the export of the Ayios Ermoyenis and Sotira objects at that time.
I am delighted to hear about the Basilica. I think I will ask Mr. Day to insert a little notice in the next Expedition dealing with your activities as outlined in your letter. That will serve as a lead toward your article which we anticipate with pleasure.
Where to next? Do you know?
With best of greetings -
P.S. I don't remember if I told you that Dick Stillwell completed his manuscript on the Kourion Theater last fall. I received word today that the American Philosophical Society will accept it for publication in their Proceedings. We are about to whip it into form for their printer and put in the works.
Also I should perhaps mention that some summer in the not too distant future I shall be free to return to work up the Apollo sanctuary. Possibly 1962. Any advice about this project?
