4) Catalogue:
I have some reason to feel, from the field researcher's point of view, that it is very desirable to include the catalogue numbers of the coins, e.g.:
"108 " Similar / Similar; no sceptre, no date, lotus in field 8 14-16 mm. Sv. 1639, 1705"
C 95, 1002, 1414, 1917, 2003, 2458, 2900, 3422 (or whatever their numbers are)
Also perhaps a concordance at the end so that one could get from Curium inventory numbers to the publication numbers.
I feel this is very useful, since coin attributions and dates do change and do vary from author to author. If one knows exactly which coins are concerned, one is then in a position to check up.
Agora coins have now been given numbers. When I publish my groups I can so refer to them and indicate that Svoronos says this, JPSH says this and MT says this, etc., about a particular coin or type.
Would it still be possible to insert these numbers?

I have a few other stray, mixed? thoughts on the Catalogue and Commentary: e.g., could not Catalogue and Commentary be interlarded and save space? This, of course, may well be Numismatic Society practice, that is, the separation of the two sections.

I am having your new list of coin identifications typed up to include in the Curium inventory. Will send Peter a copy and will furnish you with one if you need it.
Let me know your views and don't hesitate to ask for any assistance I can give you.
Sincerely,
