July 21, 1956Dear Peter:

I am taking this opportunity to enclose a note to you along with Ellen's letter. I fear that an urgent note I sent to Dikaios dated July 10th may have arrived in Nicosia after his departure so I shall ask you to take care of the matter.

Word came from Christophis that he cannot get on with the pot-drawing of Bamboula and Kaloriziki because he does not have the necessary pots at Episkopi. I realize that transportation may be difficult in view of the present situation, but if you can possibly do anything to expedite the dispatch of the pots to Christophis, I shall be very grateful indeed. It is absolutely necessary that I make up the plates for both publications before I leave for Greece on September 5th. In fact I have started to make them up. I am certain you will realize the urgency of Christophis' finishing the remaining drawings (about 60) and getting them to me immediately.

With regrets for having to trouble you about this matter and with very best regards,

Sincerely,
