Episkopi, Limassol

25th February, 1956Dear Mr. Benson,

Thank you for your letters and for the nice words about the drawings. I am glad to hear that you liked them.

You can add on the drawings the decoration in full or in dotts as you like it better but I think in full will look much better.

I am enclosing 8 drawings of those pots that were down here and also the information which I was off-duty. I have got this information on a day when I was off-duty. For the cost of this and the drawings I will send a bill to Dr. Edwards according to his instructions.

P.2209 is in Nicosia and so is all Tomb 40 of Kal†riziki. M. 24 I was unable to find this

I have packed myself the drawing of A.6 and is as far as I remember among the drawings of Apollo together with the contouring maps etc. There was a drawing and a tracing of it to fit the other side. It is a pretty to be lost because I will not be able to make another drawing. Last and it is a perfect drawing. It was drawn by Mr. However, if it is not there I will try my best for another drawing.

After crossing out those drawings and information that you have I think we ought to have a new list which I suggest you or Dr. Edwards send to our Museum with a letter asking them to send the pottery down here so that I can draw it mentioning also that we arranged so that I will draw them in my spare time as I am up to the eyes with Museum urgent work and they might delay long in sending them down. I am afraid I have to charge you more than my previous estimate owing to the decoration etc, you want for those mentioned in your letter to me of Jan. 31.

Best wishes, [signature: Christofi's?]
