Dear John & Sue:
I wonder if you can give me any information about the following pieces of sculpture or stone from Apollo:
St 201 - 321 St 352 St 353
They are listed in our inventory as coming from Apollo, but that is absolutely all the information I have about them. There is nothing recorded about them in all the Apollo notebooks. I wonder if by any chance they come from one of your votive deposits, and if so, if you have the records in Baltimore?
If so, are you including them in your publication? If you are, I will then write them off. But if you are not including them, then I must arrange to deal with them, and I should accordingly like to have you send me whatever records you may have of them. Dick Stillwell is coming out in June, and if you could give Ellen any such records she can arrange to get them to him to bring. Likewise the terracotta mould of the lady (two tc figs have turned up among Apollo things which seem to have been made from an earlier mould of the same type, incidentally).
I am still waiting hopefully for the numbrical list of TC's in your inventory as outlined in my letter of 28 Feb. Let me not hope in vain. Time is too short.
