4. Request that the division proposed in your letter of 29 Nov. 1948 stand in its entirety. Listed for Query: we cannot however locate the material in 17 south: Your share as: "Trench 21, Sections 17 north & 17 south: all contents (Area E)". Have you any suggestions about this?
Suggest that P 1053 (joining fragment of sherd with inscription illustrated in UM Bulletin, April, 1958, vol. 7, #2, p. 17) be permitted to go to Metropolitan Museum, N.Y.: to join other fragments there. Either on temporary loan for purposes of photography for publication of Mitford, or, if you see fit, permanently, perhaps by exchange.
Kalorizliki Cemetery I note that you say Tombs 18-39 have already been divided. I find that Tombs 28,30,31,35,37 still remain at Episkopi. Can you tell me if these belong to the Cyprus Museum or to the University Museum? In addition to Tombs 18-39 there are: #40 (Sceptres; assigned to Nicosia); 41-44 (unassigned). RS Young advises that we need to fill gap in Philadelphia of archaic material
Bamboula. Nos 1-37 already divided. Of these No. 4 still remains (assigned to export to Philadelphia) in Episkopi. We will need permit to export this. In addition to 1-37 there remain to be divided Nos. 38, 39, 40; Tombs in lots 236 & 270. Voupha"tomb, and material from plundered tombs in lots 236 & 270.
