Curium 2 Feb 54
Dear Sue:
I was very glad to receive yours of the 25th with remarks about remarks (I didn't mean to sound captious, to coin a word!) We will fix up the lists to suit.
I am all thunderstruck at the Mould turning up in Baltimore. One of the people who was here in the fall was going home so I asked her to take and send one of the casts of the mould. but I guess I didn't make myself clear. It really will have to come back. I guess. If you'd like to have a cast made of it for yourselves (since the cast she also took for you seems to have gotten broken), do. And perhaps one of these days you could send the mould to Ellen to be shipped back by whoever comes out in the summer.
I much appreciate the information about the Stadium. I think that will keep Peter happy for the time being. I am glad to have one of the too many gaps in my knowledge of Curium filled, too.
I should be glad to have any spare copies of any parts of your manuscript, as you suggest. The first chapter where my appetite. I have asked Ellen to send me a xxxx spare proof when such is available.
Is it of interest to you to know that T 2034 now has a head? Christo found it among George's surface finds from Apollo (1951). It is rather different from the others, so I thought you'd like to know. If you want a shot, yell.
The almond trees are in bloom, just really beginning, along with xxxxxx a number of other varieties. No judas trees yet ( I just looked, to be sure). It looks as if the next few weeks would bex very o:charry here. The ground-hog couldn't possibly have seen his shadow here today, so I am confident that spring has come.
Best of greetings. Wish you were here.
Vera
