Dear Roger:

Thank you for your letter and for the list of coins which will be inserted in our inventory. It would be nice to have the coins here. With their identifications they would stimulate our numismatic interests.

Dealing with the points you raise in your letter: "Big grid plans of Kourion Acropolis" A 1/100 T/Cl Grid plan of all Curium WS from main road to Basilica (incl Achilles Mosaic bdg.& Mint bdg) in 4 sheets, not contoured. B 1/500 T/P Ditto; grid; contoured, in 1 sheet. C " S/P " ; spare " T/C Ditto; grid, not contoured; whole of Curium Acropolis upper level from main road to Theatre & Baths (W/S as far as Basilica inserted; Basilica Theatre and Baths plotted in outline on it but not drawn. (1 sheet 0.60 x 1.60m) D 3 S/Ps as far as basilica of C (spares) 3 S/Ps spare sets of S/Ps of figs 1-11 of WS MSS (this includes 3 each of "B" and "Kourion Terry") E 1/1000 S/P Lands' "Curium Bluff" (contoured) " T/P Ditto; gridded " S/P " and old trial trenches outlined

Notes: "A" is for record, for plotting of future excavations and for providing S/P enlargements of published and unpublished detail for study purposes. "B"; you have the original T/P of this for publication with the W/S article (I think you also have S/Ps of most if not all of the rest). "C" is for much the same purposes as "A" but on a smaller scale. "D"; you have the originals of these with WS MSS. "E"; these 1/1000 versions of Lands' "Curium Bluff" contoured, with my grid and old trial trenches, Theatre and Baths outlined in pencil may be what you want but it will mean reduction to this scale of plans of features to be inserted, unless outline is sufficient. APOLLO 1/500 T/P Gridded; you have original (1 S/P here)

Grid intersections are indicated in pencil on the 1/100 Kourion Baths and Theatre plan and almost certainly on the Apollo, so that they can be inked in if desired. You have these originals. I think it was not decided at the time they were finished whether grids would be needed on the final plans or not. Any competent draftsman could complete these grids on them by reference to the 1/500 plans and the pencil indications on the 1/100 plans.

Kourion Territory 1/25000. So far as I am concerned all these drawings are your property and I am only too glad for you to
