August 7, 1953Dear Mr. Ewing:

I am enclosing a copy of the inventory of the effects of George McFadden in Cyprus. It has been sent to Dr. Edwards in Turkey and he has marked with checks the items that the Museum Expedition would like to have when they start work in September. Dr. Edwards adds that if it would be simpler to have him take everything he would be glad to dispose of the clothing and other personal items among worthy retainers and friends in Cyprus. He tells me that Mrs. Harrison and Mr. Hill had thought of so doing. Naturally we shall assist in whatever disposal the executors wish to make of the personal effects.

Sincerely yours,
