SAUL & GARNETT 1009 TOWER BUILDING WASHINGTON 5, D.C.

June 3rd, 1953Dr. Froelich Rainey, Director The University Museum University of Pennsylvania 33rd & Spruce Sts. Philadelphia 4, Penna.

Dear Dr. Rainey:

I appreciate your stopping at my house on Sunday. On Monday I wrote to the lawyer in Cyprus telling him that it seemed to me a considerable part of the personal property there belonged to the Museum and suggested that he contact Christophi. I am glad to hear from you today that you have written to Joe Last asking him to put Christophi on the job. I also appreciate your giving me the information about the investments in Cyprus.

As things progress I will keep you or Mr. McCouch posted.

Sincerely yours,
