When I went to Embassy they said going they had just sent mail back to 33rd & Spruce - I probably should have written them to hold it. Wonder if any extras of ILN went back too? Anyway, whatever goes back should probably come back - so please trickle it back if & when it comes in. Also if that creature gets around to turning out Gordian bracelets, would like about 4 - these would make good presents for Mrs. Raci, Mrs Muzaffer & Mrs. Necati (not that he deserves it) - If the dogs eat up all the rent money I can send a check to cover the cost. Don't forget to get 20% diminution from Mrs Lyle!! No hurry about it, bring with in May time enough.

Things here in good shape. Planning to return from Ankara on Thursday, bringing Buyuk Mst., & to start digging on Friday. House in good order, Suleyman & Tahir arrived promptly, many in village eager to work. Very damn cold - wouldn't be if not for wind from NW. Lots of snow on mts., but otherwise quite dry - no mud on way to huyuk!! Jeep started up OK, will leave it in Polatli while in Ankara for general going over. Have made inventory of what needed, & will have shopping expedition in Ankara.

Not much else for present - Roy
