22 Nov. 1951Dear Mr. McFadden,

I should be very greatly indebted if you could be so kind as to send me 2 casts and/or photographs of both sides of the bronze medallion of Antoninus Pius & Marcus Aurelius, recently found in your excavations at Kourion & described in AJA April, 1951, p. 168. I have written a book on Roman Medallions & am collecting material for a new corpus of them; & I should be very grateful indeed if I could have reproductions of this piece for study.

Yours sincerely, (Miss) Jocelyn M C Toynbee
