25 November, 1948Dear Fro: I hope you like the new writing paper, supplied by me at no cost to the Kourion fund, for a number of reasons. My stay in Cyprus is rapidly drawing to a thunderous close. Tomorrow Dikaios and Megaw come down to negotiate a division of finds from Bamboula. Tomorrow afternoon I lecture in Nicosia as per the enclosed, returning here by taxi. I hope to find a train to take me to Ankara. The lecture is a definite nuisance, but Peter Megaw is apparently doing good policy to manage a moment when I can fill afford to have me do it, and seemed to think I can return to Larnaca and sail thence on Saturday, the same night. I hope to find a taxi through the same ways. The 25/0/0 or so that I have had a moment to think about it, but cost me even help in the division. I am enclosing a list of drawing supplies that Joe Last wants. Since this will come out of Kourion funds, it will have to be approved by Mr. Hill or George before ordered. The ink is particularly urgent.

Also by the terms of our agreement with the Department of Antiquities in Nicosia, we are obliged to send them two copies of the publication about Kourion. They are very anxious for the author's copies, and I assume that a few copies of the Bulletin. Last is very strongly recommended for an average of everything we have published. This is the number of Dikaios's friends. Last is strongly recommended.
