Dear George, John and Sue,*

Preparing a roll of Lapithos drawings for transport to America in car with Oscar Broneer on the "Vulcania" 18-30 August - I find a note with the "Removed brought here in January, 1940 from ... in the Cyprus: plan from this roll April 2nd DHC's tracing paper, studies Plan area with surface cuttings + DHC's survey base lines of same; plan of tombs 405; cemetery near highroad to of tombs 413 ...

Has my 1934-35 Curium note book appeared? If so and it can be brought conveniently, I should be glad to have it here, where the second volume is.

I have booked a seat Athens-Rome on BE 741 Friday August 20, and have asked for a place on BE 726, Rome-London August 25; and I have my ticket for the "Queen Elizabeth" September 1 from Southampton, tourist.

We have reserved places for Mrs. Nikita and the three children in the plane flying July 26th. That is the first, with the required four seats, available after the time she can be ready (22 July, earliest).

Professor and Mrs. Lord and others for the Summer arrived yesterday on "Nea Hellas". They are due to take the same ship August 21 on their return. Broneer and his two boys and the Stilwell with son and daughter are to travel by the "Vulcania", August 18.

I plan to go to Corinth day after tomorrow for the week, then to have a few days here completing preparations for my travels, and then to spend the time mainly in Corinth or Nemea until I travel.

If the photographs of the "Alley" have gone, perhaps George will bring them.
