Dear Peter, I am sending you through our foreman, Christos Gregariou, a box of coins from the acropolis of Curium and Ayios Ermoyenis with a request that an export licence be issued for them. A list of the coins in contained in the box. If the licence may be granted at short notice, I am to take them with him to Athens on the Kyrenia due to sail direct for Greece on Saturday. Those coins from Limassol this coming Saturday should have been included with those for which I am referring to Athens on the one which Mr. Hill took with him to Athens. Young is to give the coins to Mr. Hill who will then be in a position to send all the coins to America for study and publication, as I have asked our foreman to wait without delay. In the event the licence may be granted before the December 17th, when they will be returned to Cyprus in due course. In the event the licence may be granted before the December 17th, when they will be returned to Cyprus in due course.

I have asked our foreman to wait without delay in Nicosia until it is ready and to bring it back here along with the coins. I understand that Mr. Young has spoken to you on the telephone about the matter and that this arrangement has your approval.
