Nicosia, 5th January, 1948.

No. 46/37.

Dear [handwritten: Gregg]

As regards the adjustment of the boundaries of the Ayios Ermoyenis excavation area, since Mr. Hill reached agreement with the church committee on the basis of a straightforward exchange no difficulties arise.

The Limassol L.R.O. is being instructed to register the portions to be exchanged and when that is done authority will be obtained for the Commissioner to effect the transfer.

I am sending a copy of this letter to Mr. Hill.

G.M. MacFadden Esq., Curium Excavations, Episkopi, (Limassol).

[handwritten: Thanks for your letter of the 2nd Jan. I am glad to hear you are sorry to have missed the Inscription .... I am sure is in fine condition. The Inscriptions are at Ahwa where I am taking some readings. I will not be able to take it to Episkopi. It would be necessary after all to file it for us at present. Yours ever, Peter.]
