Dear Mrs. Godfrey:-

With reference to my letters of June 4th and 30th regarding the division of finds, I have had a recent discussion with Dr. Daniel. In his letter to the Director of Antiquities in Cyprus he writes, "By criteria of aesthetic and scholarly interest, the share I allotted to us is considerably less than half" however, I think we both now agree that if the terracotta tripod is allocated to us, we shall have four of the five best tombs. As it stands, we have not only these four of the best minus the tripod. We have 17 tombs but of the 17 tombs which were up for division we have received eleven.

Very sincerely yours,
