… c/o A.H.S. Megaw Nicosia. Tuesday.

Dear George,

On checking my stores I find that I'm short of the following:

1 rangeing staff (metric measures) 1 Abney level - small.

I wonder if you have them at Episkopi? I lent the metric range staff to Dr Hill in 1938, and possibly the level also. Could you return the staff to Peter when you come up on Friday, please. Last knows them both as he used them at Vounous.

Life has become very rushed.

yours James R. Stewart.
