February 26, 1946Dear Mr. Logue:

In answer to your inquiry to Mrs. Godfrey of the University Museum, I beg to advise you that the records of the University indicate that Mr. George H. McFadden made a gift of $1,000.00 on December 18, 1945 to the Curium Excavation Fund. We have, however, no record of a gift of $500.00 on May 18, 1945 nor a gift on July 6, 1945 of $100.00.

If your records indicate otherwise and you will advise me for what purposes the two latter gifts were made, I shall be glad to make further search.

Very truly yours,
