Curium Excavations Episkopi, Limassol Cyprus

Nov. 28, 1946Dear Mr. Dikaios,

Many thanks for your notes and drawings on the Mycenaean sherd. Since you left, we have, by the way, joined up a figurine which, though not Bronze Age, has that odd sub-Mycenaean look of some of the Geometric figurines from the Ayios Iakovos sanctuary. Please send the sherds by post - I don't think they'll be stolen. We are most grateful for your visit and your patience; it's certainly saved lots of mine, which doesn't hold out very well in the Scandinavian climate. We all, also, very much enjoyed having you with us. Grace sends a toka to you and several tokoudhes (?) to your daughter. Our best regards to all three of you.

Sincerely,
