14 November, 1946Dear Peter,

Many thanks for the University Bulletins which arrived yesterday. I find we have all save that of January 1940, which I am keeping. I am sending the rest back to you. Many thanks to for your letter of the 13th. The plates will be a god send. I am awfully grateful to Charlie Bevan who came all the way out here from Limassol to get one of my plate holders as a sample to be used for cutting the plates to the right size. Five shillings a dozen seems reasonable enough. I hope finding them didn't put you to very much trouble. [handwritten: with many thanks again,]

Handwritten: As ever.
