… the preparations for your share of the project! I count on hearing from you about everything from June 25 on, or on having a copy of the summary report on Bamboula 1939 that you prepare for Megaw. Making a complete account of the cost of repairing the mosaic will, I fear, not be easy, except after June 23. I'll get & send back what data I can for the time before that. What I happen to know of at the moment is -- iron rods & wire from Lanitis 19 June = £ 7.6.4 (paid by Geo. 24 June) & 4/4 1/2 for iron (drawing) & a special small picks from the blacksmith, ordered through Antonio June 21-23, paid for by me the 24th. Also cement costs 25 cp. per sack, but I don't know anything about quantities used.

This voyage goes very pleasantly. An excursion to Rhodes took from 2hrs. p.m., are spending today here & sail for Cos tonight expecting to arrive tomorrow p.m.

Yours BHF.

The agreement with Mr. Ilian was that we pay salary £35 per month, travelling expenses from & to Beyrouth & furnish lodging at Episkopi. Terms proposed in my letter to him of 27 May & accepted in his of 31 May. I don't think I need send the letters.
