… wonder if you could possibly send these to the Director G.H.McF. of Antiquities, Cyprus Museum, Nicosia, Cyprus.

I am in rather bad need of squeezepaper to study the large number of inscriptions found at Apollo and I should appreciate it very much if you could send me a good supply from Philadelphia, as it is very hard to procure in thispart of the world. There is none at all to be had at Athens.

We will give you reports of new finds at the end of the Spring term.

I hope there may be a chance of your coming over this year; as you know I have a schooner at the Piraeus which I am planning to sail a little this Summer before returning home and it would be delightful if you could come along for a while with us. The plan is to sail through the Gulph of Corinth and through the Ionian islands up the Dalmatian cost to Venice where I am chartering the schooner in July.

Please remember me to Mr. Jenks and Mr. Smith.

It was an awfully pleasant dinner wehad.

Sincerely yours,
