Dr. Jayne, University of Pennsylvania Museum, Philadelphia.

Dear Doctor Jayne:

I am getting information together in order to make up Mr. George H. McFadden's Federal Income Tax Report, and find that he drew cheques while on the Island of Cyprus to Curium Excavations as follows:

12/29/37 $300. 1/8/38 50. 1/8/38 200. 1/13/38 50. 5/2/38 1000. 10/24/38 200. 11/26/38 200. 12/29/38 200. a total of $2200.

This is all I can find for 1938, although last year (1937) he gave Curium $3775. and $500. to the Museum.

Will you please write Mr. McFadden the necessary letter (with a carbon copy) which I can attach to the Tax Report? The address is #1606 Packard Building, Philadelphia, but kindly mail it to me at my home address, which is Box 43 Ashland, New Jersey.

Thanking you,

Yours very truly,
