see what the matter is.

George is here but without his family. He had been devorced apparently from his wife. His children I suppose have to stay in Larnaca to go to school. It is a very great shame. He has both of them painted black, and a new small closed car. He has both of them here.

Our garden is doing very well but is rather straggly in appearance just now.

Triphon and Sophocles arrive tomorrow. We are not going to have a foreman this year apparently, at least not regularly. I don't think this matters much.

I have the coins with me which I have been studying. It is going to be easy to date most of them.

I missed very much not having you on the schooner this year. I hope you will be coming down very soon.

P.S. Pete just arrived here yesterday and seems to have had a very interesting trip.
