My plans are still unsettled. I will be going to America for one semester, but I don't yet know which. If I am wanted anywhere for excavation next spring I will go to America this fall, so as to come back in the spring. If not I will probably spend the fall in Europe, and the spring in America. Is there any likelihood of my working in Cyprus in the fall, doing pottery and finishing up the palace, even if there is not to be a season proper? I am very anxious to dig at least one Mycenaean tomb before we drop the site; after all we rather owe it to Herodotus, in view of the specific Kourion problem in connection with the Mycenaeans. I am very anxious to hear what you think about the future of Kourion. With my very best wishes to you and to George, As ever,
