Dear Mr. Hill,

I arrived here yesterday by plane from Brindisi. I called your house up this morning but was sorry to hear that you you were away. It was hard for me to understand what your servant said over the telephone but I imagined you were at Corinth. She said that you were returning to Athens tomorrow. Unfortunately I will have to wait until I return from Mykonos before seeing you as I have promised some people to take them to Tinos from Mykonos for the religious festival they are having there. We are then returning to Mykonos and from there will probably return here. Mr. de Naxas who is coming with us from here is very anxious to leave immediately. Should you not be in Athens when we return I will cable you to Corinth and if you are planning to stay there will sail down to the isthmus. I am very anxious to see you as soon as I return after this cruise
