University Museum to participate in the expedition this Spring and the one we hope to have next Fall. If this implies participation to the extent of fifty percent, I think I can see both expeditions through without any difficulty. This might mean as much as two thousand dollars a season but certainly not more. I should appreciate it very much if you would write me about this as soon as convenient that we may know how much time we may count upon being here and come to some decision about the architect.

There has been a good deal of rain here during the Winter and everything is looking very green. The weather is fine now, like may at home with fruit trees in bloom, and I think we will soon be able to dig without fear of any more bad weather.

Yours sincerely,
