Dear Mr. Hill,

I forgot, when I last saw you, to show you George Weller's account of Kourion, which he wants to send to the N.Y. Times. He plans to copy it as it is, with any corrections or changes which you may propose. Such as one is your epithet of 30 years as director, &c., but I left that to you rather than altering it myself. He has copies of some of our pictures, but I doubt that he will be able to use them in the Times. If you could return it directly to him, c/o American Express, I would appreciate it, and be sure that he would.

I was unable to get into the ministry, so I sent a note to Mr. Oikonomos personally. I trust that it will be all right.

I had a fine trip up (and I quite agree with you about the trip around Mt. Olta), and have very much enjoyed my stay here. I find Saloniki very pleasant as a city, maybe even more so than Athens, and enjoy the churches very much. I especially never tire of looking at Αγια Σοφία; it really is a splendid edifice.
