CYPRUS MUSEUM

13th August,1934.

Dear Dr.Hill.

Many thanks for your two letters.

I hope to send the coins by Mr.Daniels on Saturday-also the sherds, which need not [handwritten: be] returned.

I visited Curium on Thursday and saw Mr.Daniels [handwritten: and] I shall and find he has just about completed the work; and look forward to receiving both his and your reports.

As regards Christo,I will attend to the payment of his wages, but if you could send me a cheque,it would greatly simplify my account as Mr.Dikaios has left no record of your £6.though doubtless he has it somewhere.

I have not heard from Mr.Dikaios as regards the pottery for which I asked his consent that it should remain in Episcopi, but should I not hear from him,it will remain there with the doors of the Apotheke sealed by the Museum, and visited by the Police;the keys to be deposited with us.

Hoping you will find this satisfactory.

Yours sincerely,

Acting Curator.
