a many-roomed cave in which there is a Cypriote inscription. That too will be investigated.

I am expecting to hear from you any day now, and shall be very glad to learn your latest news. I hope and trust that you found everything and everybody well.

Please give my regards to the Stillwells and Broners, if they are in Greece, and to any others of the school people whom you chance to see.

P.S. I just read of the burning of Megaspilaeou It Is it completely destroyed, as the paper here says, or just damaged? I hope that the local reports are exaggerated. J.F.D.
