View to the south of the 2019 season excavation at the Mound, Kition: the surface vegetation layer, stratigraphic unit S20-01, is being excavated and wall locus 921 is being cleared. Detail of the construction trench locus 923, which appeared just east of wall locus 921 where the stump is located and which will be excavated as stratigraphic unit S20-04.
