24 the stones of 458 were pulled up and carried away but the pulling up was done from the E which means that the fill layers, visible to the W were disturbed to the E. The horse bones (?), its shoes and the whole materi -> which lay to the E material of UF 138- 139 can give an idea of the date of the pulling up et of wall 458 and of the [illegible] fill (the most recent sherds) of the pit created then; wall 456, having fewer good stones, was not touched as low and some of its stones have rolled onto the floor of 458.

On the other hand, the stratum of grey earth (cf. section) seems to be the one on which wall 456 rests, which does not appear to descend as low as 458 (and 450?).

*It would therefore be necessary, in the trench, digging towards the S, to determine delimit the depth of 456 (and 450 ?).

*One could: . in the E baulk, specify the date of the pulling up of 458 . in the W section (on trench), specify the date of construction of 458 and, above it, that of 456; or at least determine the date and nature of the two layers separated by the stratum of grey earth.

Strata: from bottom to top – red earth scattered with bricks (8-9 cm high 27 wide) cf section { <- – grey layer (altitude 3,02 to the N 3,36 to the S i.e. 32 cm over 2,30 m) 8-9 cm high – yellow earth FIN
