Note .

Sherd 347 (UF 126) and sherd 403 (UF 124) join together = fragment of a conversation, red-figure krater.

UF 126 : pit 444, sealed by the floor of the Classical courtyard : platform 34 + covering of the drain (= floor 150) . This floor is dated to 375 / 350 . -> sherd 347 was thrown into the pit before the definitive construction of the floor

UF 124 = interior fill of the North building ; at the moment when the foundations of the building were backfilled, the pit 444 was still open and was sealed immediately afterwards -> contemporaneity between pit and backfilling of the building -> the construction of the North building must be placed immediately before the laying of the building floor Classical = ± 375 BC. = ± contemporary with the drain ) = major public works of the reign of Pumiathon ??. ((1))

Note 2 : could the present state of the North building be a a second state of the building ? a repair, down to the foundations, on the same plan, of an earlier building ? cf. reuse of marmaro as "scaffolding" in the foundations = where does this marmaro come from ? cf. reuse of numerous dressed blocks in the packing of foundation, in H8/2 , in J8/4 / J9 = where do these blocks come from ? cf. presence of tiles in the infill, tiles coming from a Classical building which is not the building North cf. extreme abundance of plaster rubble ..... how to verify this ???
