Wednesday 6 October.31 Last day of excavation.

UF 59 continued. The UF has every chance of yielding nothing, since the wall was torn out to a depth -

However: in the large W section of the excavation in the W face of the sounding / pillar 749, one sees a vertical stop of the layers in place to the N, which could well correspond to a wall robbing of wall. Sections to scrape

Observation: in the sounding pillar / 749, the trace of State - III of ramp 731, appears to correspond, in profile and in altitude, to the trace of the outer hill of State I - II -

=> hypothesis: at the end of State II, the west return wall 724 + pillar 749 ..... would have collapsed - Instead of rebuilding, one would have raised ramp 731, which would have served as the return wall to the new complex -

UF 60 continuation of UF 54 = clearing of the floor State 3 between ramp 491 and wall 452 -
