Sector H8/1 - H8/2 - H9/3

Objectives of the season in this sector

- search for wall 453 towards the North, in the squares H93 and H92 if necessary

- in H8/2, clearing of the east face of the wall

- opening of H8/1 (1/2 square only), to try to understand wall 454 and block 459

Attention, it seems indeed that wall 453 is not the eastern return of wall 432 = the east wall closing the building:

non-articulation between 453 and 432, which would be quite uncommon for a true return wall apparently, same rhythm of pillars and fills as in the west wall (= 452)

=> it will be necessary (perhaps) to go and make a sounding even further east, at ± 6 m from 453, to see whether anything is visible

in principle, the block found by Liliane Gantzman in G8/4 in 1976 could belong to the building Classical!
