- Clearing of the brick "wall" 489 24 it measures, at most, 0.80 m high and is not founded on anything = it rests on a layer of clay + stones. its south face (visible in section 1985) measures 0,50 m = long side of the bricks. the bricks measure 0,40 m on their short side, visible on the east face of the wall average thickness: 0,11 / 0,12 cm.

The wall is robbed (?) towards the north, and it supports behind, a very large fill of loose brick earth.

The fill of the square (a lot of brick earth) contains numerous blocks (dressed) + rough rubble stones + pieces of plaster - but material only classical and very homogeneous. the fill was made with the spoil from robbing/ ing or destruction at the Classical period

In the north of the square, one sees a heap of stones ± bonded which could be the remains of a massif comparable to 459 / 488. = loc. 490

→ it is assumed that the fill of this square was made by destroying massif 490 by constructing wall 489 to contain successive fills by filling the whole with brick earth and stones. (= wall 489 would determine a sort of "caissonage" of the fill).
