Description locus 488. 22 west face carefully bonded and plastered dressed blocks (± square) bonded with plaster the massif consists of two / three alignments N/S. - the central alignment (488 a) was built first, since its west face is plastered it slopes gently downwards towards the North. its east face has been torn out - the west alignment (488 b) is set against the alignment central, with packing of small stones and of plaster. - a third alignment is visible on the south face of the massif, but seems to have been torn out down to the course the lowest

To the South, we are clearing floor 477, perfectly preserved, couv very hard, covered with white (plaster). one can see very well the continuation of the floor from H8/1 as far as I8/2 in the baulk. above this floor, one finds a yellowish fill made of crushed sandstone, as had been found in the fill des above the slabs of marmaro - (excavation 85). this fill, between wall 432 and the head of the massifs 459 / 488 - is different from the fill to the North (tear-out ?)
